Hi there!
My name’s Aamar-Malik Culbreth.
I’m an actor, singer, and dancer originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. During my training in getting my Bachelor's in Music Theatre from Baldwin Wallace University, I was blessed to work at some of the most prestigious regional theatres in the nation including Cleveland Play House, the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Pittsburgh CLO and many more. I have worked as leads, in supporting roles, in the ensemble, and as an understudy or swing in both plays and musicals.
I am a Next Wave Initiative Scholar winning the Hattie McDaniel Acting Scholarship and I have a passion for workshopping new pieces.
My love for theatre and performing knows no bounds whether it be contemporary or classical, musical theatre or plays, no matter where or how
It is a blessing to create art.

Reviews
“Aamar-Malik Culbreth as the ADHD tightly wound Ogie, the love interest of Dawn (Kate Magocsi), the shy waitress, quickly emerged as the audience favorite. His “Never Getting Rid of Me” stopped the show! He has a wonderful feel for farce and is Broadway-ready to play any nerdy part. “I Love You Like a Table,” sung with the Magocsi was delightful. - (Waitress), Cool Cleveland
“... Aamar-Malik Culbreth shines in his debut as the resilient Youngblood, a Vietnam War veteran striving to rebuild his life…” - (Jitney), Cleveland Observer
“Hermia, … felt perfectly matched with Aamar-Malik Culbreth as Lysander. In their iconic fight scenes, these two couples provide the quadrangle with such youthful innocence and romantic drama that I simply cannot imagine improving upon it.” - Utah Theatre Bloggers Association
“The cast, works as a well-oiled unit. The actors play off each other and create clear individual characters, yet mold into a symbol of a common message. They are each remarkable… Culbreth develops the youth with clarity and purpose.’ (Kill Move Paradise) - Cool Cleveland
